Anne-Marie Thomas

Anne-Marie Thomas currently serves as a director on the boards of DUCA Financial Services Credit Union, Habitat for Humanity GTA, and the Ontario Hospital Association Legacy Fund. Board experience includes serving as vice-chair and chair of Audit, Risk, Governance and Investment committees.

Anne-Marie’s capital markets experience in the pension and investment industries includes leadership positions in the private and public sectors. As Chief Investment & Pension Officer at one of Canada’s largest defined benefit pensions plans, Thomas led strategy development and renewed pension governance and risk management systems. She also served as investment consultant to a preeminent Canadian university providing support and advice on pension and endowment portfolio matters.

Anne-Marie earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter, MBA from Ivey Business School and BBA from the University of Iowa College of Business, Chartered Director (C.Dir) and Audit Committee Certified (A.C.C.) designations from The Directors College, and ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. In the community, Anne-Marie enjoys volunteering with and is a proud supporter of Habitat for Humanity.
